NEW Scholarship Committee

The Scholarship Committee is dedicated to facilitating access to the MNHPC conference by managing and promoting the scholarship program. This committee oversees all events and initiatives related to the conference scholarships, ensuring they align with the mission of MNHPC to support hospice and palliative care professionals. Through strategic planning and execution, the committee aims to broaden participation in the conference, enhance educational opportunities, and foster professional growth within the MNHPC community.

Finance & Audit

This committee is empowered to study and make recommendations regarding all financial procedures, controls, activities and planning.

PPCCMN

The Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition of Minnesota (PPCCMN) is a collaboration of professionals and community representatives who want to improve pediatric palliative care in Minnesota through advocacy and education.

Standards of Practice

This committee uses the highest ethical standards and experts in the field to clarify, create and/or promote “Best Practices” in the delivery of hospice and end of life care in all care settings.

Public Policy

The Public Policy Committee is responsible for reviewing legislation, rules and regulations relating to end-of-life issues on a state and federal level. The committee recommends positions and policy to the Board of Directors.

Education & Training

The Education and Training Committee identifies educational knowledge and practice gaps as articulated by hospice & palliative care professionals and assists with the planning, guidance and oversight of educational content provided throughout the year to address these needs. This content is offered through MNHPC’s annual conference, educational forums and online offerings that advance professional education.

Technical Assistance Team

The MNHPC Technical Assistance Team is available to support members by addressing practice-related inquiries, including those related to regulatory and compliance requirements, quality standards, best practices, and community norms. We are proud to bring together a team with such a diverse and specialized range of expertise. Appointed by the MNHPC Board of Directors, these team members exemplify leadership and dedication in the field of end-of-life and serious illness care.
