Executive Roundtable
Join us for an afternoon of meaningful connection, shared insight, and leadership growth at the Executive Roundtable hosted by Minnesota Network of Hospice and Palliative Care.
Designed for both formal and informal hospice and palliative care leaders, the Executive Roundtable creates space for candid conversation, peer learning, and strategic dialogue around the challenges and opportunities shaping our field.
Our April 19 Executive Roundtable is one you won’t want to miss. As a special pre-conference gathering, this session will bring together leaders from across the state to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and learn from one another’s experiences. Whether you lead a large organization, a small rural team, or influence from within your role, your voice and perspective matter in this space.
Following the Roundtable, continue the conversation at our executive happy hour, where you can deepen connections, explore new partnerships, and engage with industry partners supporting hospice and palliative care across Minnesota.
Come ready to connect, contribute, and collaborate — together, we lead stronger.

Leading with Care: Trauma-Informed Leadership in Hospice Organizations
Working in hospice means leading people who carry grief, secondary trauma, and emotional exhaustion as part of their daily reality. This one-hour session moves beyond theory to give hospice leaders practical, ready-to-use tools for recognizing trauma responses in their teams and responding in ways that build trust, reduce burnout, and keep staff engaged. Through real-world scenarios drawn from hospice settings, participants will leave with concrete skills they can put to work the very next day.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
-
Spot the difference between a staff member who needs a performance conversation and one who needs a trauma-informed response and know exactly what to do in each situation.
-
Lead a structured 10-minute debrief following a difficult death or family crisis that helps staff process, reset, and feel supported rather than dismissed.
-
Modify one existing leadership habit using a trauma-informed lens to reduce team stress.
